JEWEL International Women’s Day High Tea 2016

Our blue ribbon annual event The Jewel International Women’s Day High Tea 2016 was held on 16th April 2016 at the Johor Persada Convention Center , Johor Bahru. Graced by the elegant DYMM Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah, Permaisuri Johor, the members of Jewel hosted over 400 guests  from Johor Bahru and Singapore . The event also featured the installation of the incoming Jewel President Madam Woo Sow Pheng who took over the reins from the founder and long serving President Madam Thanam Visvanathan-Suresh. A fund raising for the organisation was administrated significantly through an orchid bidding auction. The  orchids scientifically  named Phaleanopsis and Dendrobium brought in a total of RM 29, 630.00 from 2 successful bidders. More pictures and updates on this event coming soon. Stay tuned.
